My boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 years. We currently live together but are moving next month, he would like to get another place together but i am not so sure i want to go down that road. Im looking for some advice, or reassurance that i;m doing the right thing here. So any suggestions are welcome. Sorry that this is so loong ! When we first got together he was the sweetest guy, and i trusted him fully 100%. I had actually just gotten out of a bad relationship when we met ( my ex cheated on me a lot ) .. When me and my current boyfriend met i was finally at a good place with my life, had gotten over all of the pain of my previous relationship and was content on being single & alone, and very much so more confident then ever. I am however a relationship type of person so when i met my current boyfriend i gave it a shot when he asked me out. Maybe 3 months into our relationship we attended a party and he got super drunk and rubbed up another girls leg who sat on the opposite side of him while making out with me on the other :$, i seen this and got up immediately and left. I was disgusted, the next day he said it would never happen again he was so drunk he didnt know what he was doing, so that was that, it took time but i DID end up trusting him again and letting go of that.
However, things got more complicated from there, he would talk to his ex on the phone but be sneaky about it and hide it, he would go out and see her with his friend while i was at home, he would tell me but i would get extremely mad because i was hurt and feeling betrayed. He cut her off but then it escalated to him flirting with multiple girls over the course of a year. Over facebook, msn, text messages, parties, his excuse was simply that ” i made him angry”, or ” he thought i was talking to other guys” <-(with no proof mind you) so im thinking,, BS! .. Hed say things like " hey cutie, sexy, gorgeous" .. comment on there pictures in inapropriate ways, ask them to go to the club with him, or to go drinking with him. Each time he thought he was slick and id never found out however, internet history and msn history does wonders!!!..
Anyhow, 6 months ago, we got into a huge fight because i had caught him again, flirting and hitting on other girls, i went out with my dad to get some space and he went out with a buddy drinking in toronto during the hockey game when canada won?.. Anyhow, he ended up hitting on some girls down there, going back to there hotel room, drinking with them and hanging out with them all night. He didnt come home until 4am. And when drunk, i know from experience he is a total flirt! .. He came home and said he had the best night ever then went to sleep. I had called him that night and asked him if he was with girls and he said no. I was at home just watching a movie alone mind you. So when he fell asleep after getting home i went through his phone and found texts between him and his friend of him saying " im going to pick up some girls right now".. and his friend later replying " save me the brunette".. I later found an msn convo from him to a different friend who wasnt with him that night, but my bf saying how "the girls were sexy, they went back to there hotel room, and how he could have had a threesome." .. I showed him the convo and he looked at me in shock. Because he had told me he never chilled with any girls. He admitted he went to there hotel rooom but insisted NOTHING happend and he didnt even really talk to them.
So now, 6 months later, He admits to me that, that night he was acting as if he were single. He told these girls he was single, and hit on them. He went back to there hotel room and drank with them with his friend. He said he touched the girl inapropriately, hugging her, and had his arm around her, he also admitted that he made a move on her to kiss her but insisted she said no that she had a boyfriend? Not sure i beleive what hes saying but sure. He keeps telling me i need to get over it, that it happend so long ago so its in the past, but im hurt that hes been lying to me for this long, and that it seems to be a reocurring thing with him. Should i even beleive that, thats all that happend? I mean, he lied about nothing happening in the first place rright? My problem is that im 5 months pregnant with his child, and that makes things veryy complicated.
Everytime we fight i bring it up, and i keep envisioning him doing what he did in my head, i just cant get over it. my plan is to move out and get my own place, let things cool off and get some space and time to deal with it on my own. And hes mad about that :$ Can anyone help me with this pleasee?
